0:14.0	This is Maria Kalinchini, and I'm the author of Goop Tales.
0:18.9	Now, why am I calling this Season 2? So for those of you who are new
0:24.3	to Goop Tales, listen up and I'll explain it all. So the Goops are original characters that were
0:33.0	created back at the turn of the century in 1904 by a man named Gillette Burgess.
0:39.8	So he created the original 52 Goops and named them and wrote a poem about every single one.
0:48.0	And they are the inspiration for Goop Tales.
0:51.3	So if you've been listening to Goop Tales for a while now, you know that I have
0:56.7	written an original story and turned it into a podcast for every single one of those goops.
1:03.9	And I promised that when we got to 52, we would not stop there. So instead, what I'm going to do for episode number 53
1:17.1	is start the second season of goop tales.
1:21.9	What does that mean?
1:23.2	How is season two going to be different from season one?
1:31.0	Well, season two is going to be generated by you. Yes, you heard it by you. And so many of you have already written me in your ideas
1:40.7	or new goops. And I am taking those. I read every single one that comes in and I am going
1:48.5	to be taking those and turning them into stories and creating the poem and the artwork that goes
1:55.6	with them. So it's super exciting so thank you for sending in your ideas.
