One day at sunset, Neverlissen is supposed to meet his friends Copycata and Mimicfina in the woods, but he wasn’t listening when they said to go to the north side, and he ends up on the south side! He falls through a never-ending hole in the ground that drops him on the island of Islay in Scotland. There, his fox hat, Madra Rua, comes alive and helps guide him when he senses danger.
Unfortunately, Neverlissen gets lost in his thoughts and forgets to listen to Madra Rua’s warnings. He wanders into a dangerous area, where he gets caught in a hunter’s trap that leaves him hanging from a tree! Neverlissen will need to listen to each and every sound if he wants to escape the trap and find Madra Rua again. Will he finally be able to tune into his sense of hearing to get himself out of this mess?
Neverlissen’s adventure in Islay, Scotland will show kids why it’s so important to practice listening. Neverlissen will need to develop this skill if he wants to find his beloved fox hat and get back home. Will he be able to pull himself out of his imagination long enough to listen to the world around him? Join him in Islay to find out!
This kids podcast will help them practice prolonged focus while helping them practice active listening. As little ones roam through Scotland with Neverlissen, they will engage in imaginative play, broaden their horizons through travel, and establish new play patterns.
