Unfortunately, there was no James Brown available that night, so we had to think of something else

But first we'll listen to a brand new story just for this bonus episode that takes you inside a terrifying scene of a monster attack all courtesy of a group of fun

loving partiers who use some fake blood and sausage links to learn a little

something about growing up. It's a story from producer Caitlin Bilgion.

We were in those perfect salad days where we had almost no responsibilities. We were working and

going to school but we were also keeping our money in giant Corona bottles,

routinely prank phone calling people,

and doing kegstands with gymnastic precision.

So while technically we were adults,

our frontal lobes had definitely not fully formed up yet.

That was how it was until one day our friend Nat met Little Steve.

Now Little Steve was not Little.

He was a big guy with a big white beard and he was a regular at the

dinner house for Nat worked. He was famous in town for two things. He was always

Santa at the Christmas train and he always ran the haunted barn at Halloween.

Half the time he was a cherished holiday grandfather and then the other half of the time he

was a warlock that showed you to the deepest depths of hell. His haunted barn was this
