we recently made a video about the history of Slytherin House here in the real world and the odd

dilemma people faced when sorted there. How they would face prejudice for their presumed prejudice,

which is very silly when of course everyone who took the time to go to Pottermore and get sorted into a house is a Harry Potter fan to begin with. But as we were writing that video, it occurred to us that the other houses may have had their struggles as well with equally frustrating hurdles to overcome.

So today we're going to look back at Gryffindor House, which you think would be the best house to be sorted into.

I mean, nearly every heroic character in the books is sorted there.

Certainly all the main characters are, with the closest exceptions being

Luna in Ravenclaw or maybe Tonks. But like, did you even know Tonks was in Hufflepuff?

Didn't think so. And if you have your hand up out there for Snape, well, that's just a whole

different video, okay? The point is that despite seeming like the de facto best house to be sorted into,

Gryffindores have for sure had their struggles over the years for some very odd reasons.

So today we are going to dive into the odd journey that has been being a Gryffindor.
