It's been a while since I've done a headlines episode, and there's so much happening in the news right now that I figured I'd

postpone the conclusion of our Enoch study and spend an episode talking about a couple of

really important topics. There's been a lot of conversation going on in our Facebook group and

really around the world about the red heifers, the upcoming eclipse, how they connect, and what it all

means. Now, I've talked a bit about the red heifers in a previous episode way back in September of

2022 when it first was realized that they might actually go on to play a significant role in Bible prophecy.

But for those who weren't aware, in the book of numbers, Moses was commanded by God to sacrifice a red heifer for the purpose of ritual purification,

specifically the purification of those who might have come into contact with a dead body.

Now, you have to remember that in those days, they buried their own dead.

So if someone passed away in their sleep or died in combat or died from sickness or died accidentally,

anyone who was even in the same room as the body was considered unclean.

You also have to remember that these weren't just laws that God was making up to create more rituals for them to observe.

Back then, there wasn't the understanding of germs, bacteria, viruses, disease that we have today.

In fact, many pagan cultures never washed their hands or even concerned themselves with cleanliness.

And this is why these so-called rituals of cleanliness and

purification were so important. God was in essence teaching his people how to protect themselves

from sickness before science ever proved the danger of disease. So in order to ritually purify anyone who had come into contact with a corpse,

God commanded Moses and Aaron to find a red heifer, and not just any red cow would do. It had to be a

young female cow that had never been pregnant or bore any offspring. She also had to be without blemish or defect, and practically
