John has a storied career in Nevada. He's written for three newspapers, hosted television shows, now he started an online news

site called the Nevada Independent, which is just a terrific site.

I encourage you to check it out in the next 10 days and after that and is an active

presence on social media and he's he's a good blend of someone who he's a journalist so he you know can do traditional reporting but he also is a

data geek and knows the numbers in Nevada backwards and forwards so he's someone I

think who's going to help guide all of us over the next 10 days.

He'll also be one of the moderators of the NBC and MS NBC debate that takes place in Nevada

next Wednesday, which I think will be like New Hampshire an important debate.

So, you know, Nevada is going to be important.

You know, for us in 08, it was an important state because we had split Iowa, New Hampshire, we came into Nevada,

competed really hard, things began to get super intense in the Obama Clinton race, really in Nevada

before we even moved to South Carolina, different tenor.

Hillary actually won the raw vote.

We won the delegates largely because we outperformed her pretty significantly in the rural areas.
