for another edition of Tuesdays with Trey.

And I know I've said this before but I really mean it this time.

To guess this week is one of my favorite people in the world and it is a real treat for me to be able to

talk to him and I hope you enjoy eavesdropping in on this conversation.

I met him in Washington.

I did not know him before I got to Congress and he was there one day to kind of grow the game of golf and there

were some hitting net set up in what we call the Rayburn House Office Building, which is where

all the committees meet. And I thought, well, you know, I mean, there'll be a huge crowd and I won't get to meet him, but I can at least go down there and see him in person and maybe pick up a tip.

Because I've seen him a million times on television so I went down there he's famous

he's you know if you're if you were a golf channel or YouTube or you just Google why am I hitting my irons then he's going to pop up so to me he was famous and I went down there just a meeting but when you get to know Michael Breed that's not the way he works he doesn't work that way he number one is going to try to help you because he's a really good guy and number two he loves the game of golf. And number three, he's passionate about helping other people enjoy the game more and be better. So I got my first lesson with Michael Breed that morning. I thought I was a decent golfer until I got his

analysis back, which was about 30 pages long of the things I needed to work on. I thought maybe

I had a slightly out of the end swing path, but good heavens. He gave me a lot to work on,

which was all right, but I'm not physically able to do any of it. He watched me hit some balls. And then when he came to Washington after that, I thought, you know what would be a great idea? Why don't I get him to come to dinner and we'll have this trade-off? My friends can ask him one golf question and then he can ask us a question about whatever he wants about current events because he keeps up with current events.

And those are some of my favorite memories and these were Republicans and Democrats. These are names you would know sitting

around the table. We got Michael Breed is the guest of honor and Michael would field golf
