I heard before and when I saw her cover of her book a couple of months ago, which is

funny I say that about two people who are on the show this month, but when I

saw her cover a couple of months ago,

I immediately knew there's gonna be something

special about this book.

I don't know, sometimes a cover just says it all.

And I just need to tell you that I read her book in April and from the first like 10 pages I said

this will be one of the best books I read all year no doubt it's called it

wasn't roaring it was weeping interpreting the language of our fathers without repeating their stories.

Lisa Joe is such a phenomenal writer. I mean there were so many parts of this book that I would

put it down and I would read it

aloud to Erin because it was just so beautiful. Her book literally reads like a

movie. It's all about growing up in South Africa and her relationship with her

father and how that translates into her own relationship as an adult and at the beginning of the

show Lisa Joe and I talk about having senior boys and we both had boys playing lacrosse

this year in fact my senior that played lacrosse had to the last game last weekend. My boys have prom
