Jamie and I'm so glad you're here. Each week on this show I invite a friend to

join me and we chat about the big things in life, the little things in life and

everything in between. Hey friends this is Jason Tally the audio engineer for the happy hour.

Jamie recently released a statement on Instagram that she is stepping away from

podcasting for a while. As a team we have decided to air the six conversations

that were already recorded. We decide to do this for a couple of reasons. First we

want to honor the guests, we want to honor the projects that they have worked

on and we also really want to honor the stories that they're sharing.

If this is your first time to listen to the happy hour or you've been with Jamie since the beginning,

thank you. You're the reason this community really is so great. We want you to keep having your own happy hour with your friends,

reading new and exciting books and finding new things that you're loving all the time.

Well, I'm glad to have you here and I need to start.

Before you even tell people all the things you do, I need to start before you even tell people all the things you do I

need to tell you I have a 16 year old daughter okay and I was telling her about my

week she's like mom what do you doing and actually you know what that's not how this happened I wasn't

telling her about this this is how this happened I went up into the game room and my

daughter loves music she sings all the time she loves music videos and she was

watching a video and you were in it and I was like oh I played my mom card I was like I'm actually interviewing her soon and she's like what? I said yes I am and she goes tell her she has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.
