Hello and welcome to the Safy Ridge on Sunday podcast. Well, this week I spoke to the leader

of the House of Commons, David Littington, about the next steps for the government's Brexit bill.

And I was also joined by the Brexit Committee chairman Hillary Ben and not one but two party

leaders, UKIP's Paul Nuttall and the Green Party's Caroline Lucas.

Now, the government suffered defeat for the first time on its Brexit bill this week when the House of Lords backed an amendment, calling for EU citizens to be guaranteed the right to remain in Britain post-Brexit.

While that bill now goes back to the House of Commons, where the government are expected to try and overturn the amendment.
