Hello and welcome to the Safy Ridge on Sunday podcast with the government expected to trigger

Article 50 as early as this week. I spoke to Cabinet Minister Liam Fox and also Labour's Brexit spokesman, Sakeer Stama.

since the Northern Ireland elections on my show, and I went on the road to Leicester.

Well, the government's expected to trigger Article 50 this week and start the process of leaving the EU,

but before that, it needs to get its Brexit bill through Parliament.

Tomorrow, the Commons will consider the two amendments passed by the Lords,

but any delays are expected to be temporary.

So the government is keen to get things moving.

Well, I was joined by one of the famous three Brexiteers,

the International Trade Secretary Liam Fox,

and I asked him if he would be frank about when Article 50 will be triggered particularly because he's not let off the Downing Street leash very often.
