What she was offering to do was to ski in over the high Carpathian mountains in minus 40 degrees.

Raymond had only one thing on his mind to fight the Nazis. United by a spirit of defiance.

They knew these dangers, but still they carried on. Of course it was dangerous, but danger was his friend. Helping people

was in his blood. And motivated by a need to save innocent lives. He thought of his parents and he

wanted to be with them again and he wanted to get them to safety. He failed to return, but he left a legacy.

And of that, I am tremendously proud.
