Back in 2018 I talked to Christy and Buddy Woodall.

If you don't remember their episode, let me tell you a little bit about them.

On March 16, 2001, Bobby Woodall was arrested for the double murder of Lavelle Lynn and Robert Van Allen.

The case would be known in Georgia as the Labor Day murders.

Buddy is currently serving three as the Labor Day murders.

Buddy is currently serving three consecutive life sentences,

but both him and Christie still maintain Buddy's innocence.

I have a minimum of like 52 years left before I've ever become eligible for parole.

If you couldn't hear Buddy, he just said he has a minimum of 52 years left before he's eligible for parole.

I'm never going to make it. You know, I would be 97 years old. For years and years I try to get Christie to leave me, to divorce me,

you know and so forth and all. I don't want Christy to miss out on so much life. My kids, I mean there is just so

much out there they could do if they were to let go.

And I hate thinking about that.

Because I know deep down in my heart.

She's going to stay with me no matter why.

After 26 years, their marriage is still going strong,

despite everything.

Recently, our executive producer Ramsey Yunt caught up with Christy Woodall to check in and

see how things are going for them.
