Today I am lucky enough to be talking with Saeeda Garrett, and I am so excited to have

this chat.

And first Saeeda, before I wax rapsodic about who you are and what you do, will you just

give us a quick insight into who you are?

I am a singer songwriter.

I've been in the music business world for three decades, and I am an avid, nitter, and

crochet.

I love all of these things.

Here's the thing, you're kind of downplaying your career in music, because you have

a Grammy.

You've been nominated for Oscars.

You have written for and sung with incredibly illustrious names from everyone from Madonna

to Donna Summer has been part of your circle, right?
