But before any of that, Seth Goldman was trying to convince the beverage industry that yes, people will buy a bottle drink that is not loaded with sugar.

And as you will hear, it took a lot of convincing.

So in 2003, we had a delivery of glass that was faulty.

And so we ended up with some product in the marketplace that had broken glass inside the bottle.

In fact, there are two different Whole Foods stores. And Whole Foods has a rule, three strikes in your own.

We knew we couldn't afford as a business to lose our largest customer.

So we voluntarily withdrew all product from the market. Every store.

Everywhere. Not just Whole Foods, everywhere.

It totally stopped our sales. It was just painful.
