Enjoy. Hello, my name is Christopher Wrenstrom, and I'm your weekly horoscope columnist here on

astrology hub. This week I wanted to talk to you

about the planet Jupiter and what it means to you with its approaching

sextile to the Sun on April 15th.

Now Jupiter is one of those planets that always brings a smile to someone's face

whenever you mention it in astrology.

It's associated to good fortune and higher purpose.

We think of abundance and bounty when we hear the word Jupiter,

and we get all sorts of excited about all the good things that are going to come our way, like maybe

we'll win the lottery or get this exciting opportunity, or find that we've inherited millions

from some sort of rich uncle that we didn't know about. The word that's often used for Jupiter is the word expansion. Now, I have to confess to you. I really don't like the word expansion when it's used with Jupiter.

It always puts me in mind of expanding wastelines and thunder thighs, things that are sort of like huge and growing more enormous.

I like to think that's a little bit more to Jupiter than just that. And so I'd like to sort of backtrack a little bit and give you a little background on this planet. Jupiter, like Venus is a Benific. Benific in astrology are the two planets that are given the assignment

of bringing good things into your life. And the reason that they're called Beniffix is because they're pure bright lights in the sky.

The Maliffix aren't so bright and aren't so pure.

Mars looks a little red and rusty in the sky and Saturn looks a little faded and

slow moving. So that's why those planets were called the Maliffix. Oh, but when you look at Venus like you can nowadays in the morning, just before sunrise, you can't miss her. She's absolutely bright and resplendent, and the same is true of Jupiter.

Now, where Venus is given the job of bringing good things to people by bringing two people together to create more people.
