Men, it is Thursday, and we have a lot happening today

as we welcome you all with some pretty breaking news if you're a college football fan.

How about this? Never thought we would see this day, but Lee Corso has only one more college game day.

It was announced today that the about to be 90-year-old will sign off the first week of the season.

My family and I will forever be indebted for the opportunity to be part of college game day for nearly 40 years.

I have a treasure of many friends, fond memories, and some unusual

experiences to take with me into retirement. ESPN has been exceptionally generous to me, especially

these past few years. They have accommodated me and supported me, as did my colleagues in the early

days. Special thanks to Kirk Herb Street for his friendship, unlessest I forget the fans truly a blessing to share
