This is going to be the largest contract in the history of baseball.

One thing that's bothering me about what people are saying,

I think the Yankees are going to be hesitant to have any contract that's higher than judge.

Well, then say goodbye. You got no chance. When they talk about the Yamamoto, we can't pay him more than coal.

Listen, contracts go up all the time for the biggest stars in the world.

And if you're going to say, okay, our top limit is 36 for coal and 40 for judge,

then that's it.

Those are the last best players you're going to get,

unless you somehow develop them in your own farm system and then when it's time to sign

them after six years as a free agent you're going to lose them because you can't

cap it out at what judge has and I don't think judge has a sort of ego where he

would say I've got to make the most money. I just don't see it.
