I'm always excited to talk a little Houston Rockets basketball.

We got it in right here just before the season started,

just like the rockets,

we're barely able to get the extension negotiated with Alper and sheoon right ahead of the deadline

So you know I guess it's just a recurring theme for the rockets

Right deadline spur action? That's the colleague Andrew Brant says that all time in football and it's a good maxim.

So let's start with this, this team, I think last year, for a team that's largely going to be bringing back some of the same players.

We'll of course talk about the exciting newcomers or guys who are returning for being out last year, but largely this is the same group.

So how good were these guys last year?

You know what I mean, they have this really good point differential.

They also have the three-point defense where they gave up a really low percentage on open threes

They have this big winning streak at the end when chagoon goes down so help me make some sense of all that noise and just discuss what is our

baseline to project forward here in 24-25.

Yeah I mean when you look at just how this team performed last season there's a lot of

metrics that suggests that they were kind of on pace to be like a 45 or 46 win team last year.
