we want to try to break even with new customers that we're bringing in within 30 days and that allows us to go and spend more to get more of these customers.

I think the issue is if you try to wait too long or you say, hey, I think I can get paid out in three months or six months I can break even.

It ends up being a lot of risk to your business and if something goes wrong, if a big crisis hits and you have to scale back a lot of your spend, then you're in a bigger hole than, you know, the thing that you bargain for.

So getting paid back quickly or at least getting to break even quickly allows you to take on lower risk and scale the program one.
