But not everybody agrees.

And that's the focus of today's episode.

The Los Angeles Quality of Life Index was released this week and the results are not all butterflies and champagne

In fact, they're pretty dower and this is on the heels of the mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass giving her annual state of the city address, which also struck a rather cautious tone, not quite the unbridled optimism you usually hear from the mayor and not even the same tone that you heard from Mayor Bass last year.

So I'm going to dive into this overview of our city, but most importantly, I want to hear from you.
