It's been a week in which the government announced to no one's surprise that the lockdown

we've endured for the past three weeks is to continue for at least another three and likely

longer still. In fact, health minister Nadine Dora suggested this week will all be keeping

social distance from

one another until a vaccine is found, and that could be a year or more away at least. This was also

the week the crisis in our care homes was laid bare, the government accused of underreporting

deaths and overlooking staff and residents for coronavirus testing. More on all those developments and more on this week's

now for four weeks, Shehab Khan. Hello. And of course, Robert Peston, who's been practicing

the new national hero, Captain Tom Muir, who's raised 18.5 million pounds for the NHS by doing laps of his garden.

Incredible.

I must add, he's 99 years old.

That's the, I mean, you've missed the key part of the story there, Louis.

The fact that he's 99 is the story.

99 year old, Captain Tom Moore, ahead of his 100th birthday, said he would do 100 laps of

his garden to raise at the time he said £1,000 for NHS charities.

And as you say, he's now passed 18 million and has won the kind of admiration of a whole

nation with his incredible effort.
