Fred Trump, nephew of our 45th president and the current Republican nominee.

Fred is the author of the new book All in the Family,

The Trumps and How We Got This Way.

Sammy, thanks for having me and it's good to see you again after these years.

So to give people some context, I imagine the audience will find this very interesting. We met several years ago actually I believe

during the Trump administration or right before during the campaign. Yeah the campaign.

So your daughter Andrea who is you write about in the book, was one of our earliest employees

and worked for us for a few years.

She started as an intern before Donald was the

the nominee and eventually the president.

And what I always found so striking about her

is that she is really the embodiment of everything opposite of the way people think about the Trump name.

She was never flashy or entitled. She was always super hard working and I think this is one of the

biggest indicators. She never tried to really capitalize on the perks of working in

media which would have been very normal for her to do.

And it just always struck me that there was really nothing Trumpy about her.
