0:29.1	For those who don't yet know him, Dr. Luskin is Associate Director of Discovery Institute's
0:33.9	Center for Science and Culture. He's a scientist and an attorney with graduate
0:38.3	degrees in science and law, giving him expertise in both the scientific and legal dimensions
0:43.6	of the debate over evolution. He holds a PhD in geology from the University of Johannesburg
0:49.4	and earned a law degree from the University of San Diego, where he focused on First Amendment
0:54.3	law, education law, and environmental law. His BS and MS degrees in Earth Sciences are from
1:00.9	the University of California, San Diego, where he studied evolution extensively at the graduate
1:06.0	and undergraduate levels. Dr. Luskin has been a California licensed attorney since 2005, practicing
1:12.5	primarily in the area of evolution education in public schools, and defending academic
1:17.9	freedom for scientists who face discrimination because of their support for intelligent design.
