Welcome to the disciples journal. I'm your host Darren Starks and I still haven't really found like a tag line for this show yet. I'm not exactly sure what I want to go with. I was thinking something along the lines of like,

Welcome to the disciples journal where we live and love God's way type of thing, but I don't know, y'all might have to help me out with that.

But anyways, I really want to start this episode with this.

I believe there's an important question that we all need to ask ourselves which is

what does it look like for Jesus to be everything like how do we practically keep him

first and all that we do how do we keep our focus on Jesus and make him an integral part of every aspect of our life?

And that's really what I want to break down in this conversation.

And this is important to me because I can think back on moments where Jesus may have had my time but never truly had my life

and for me that looked like just going through the motions of Sunday morning services

the occasional midweek life group but the rest of my life being completely untouched by

him in every way.

And it's crazy because I was listening to this YouTube channel called Button Poetry, and poet named I believe his name is Rudy Francisco

I'm not exactly sure but if you are in a spoken word of poetry you definitely seen him before are familiar.

Anyways, and this little poem that he's,

this is a love poem that he's basically like spewing,

but he mentions this idea of whose fingerprints are on our hearts.

And it made me think of this question of,

if we extracted the fingerprints of your heart,

whose hand would it point to?

Like, who or what holds your life in their hands?

Who do you belong to?

And that really hit because I think we have to ask ourselves,
