1:34.7	How are you? I am doing well. Well, thank you so much for being here with us today and for those that don't know who you are. You are the president and CEO of
1:41.1	the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and you are also a survivor.
1:48.2	And today we are going to talk about invalidation of other people's experiences, especially
1:55.1	with what's going on right now with a big trial.
2:00.1	And we are going to be talking about mutual abuse, the myths of mutual
2:05.7	abuse. And for those that don't know your organization, you, the organization has been up and running
2:14.3	since 1978.
2:26.1	And you, the organization has been very involved in policymaking, specifically the biggest things, I guess the woman against, the violence against women, sorry, the woman,
2:31.6	I used to do it for me.
2:33.9	The violence against women. The Violence Against Women Act.
2:35.5	The Violence Against Women's Act, amongst many other really big initiatives.
2:43.5	And I mean, there's been the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act, International Violence Against Women Act, and the Legislative Action

2:52.8	The organization started born out of the Civil Rights Movement, and it has been now 44 years.
