It wouldn't speak to you. It is that greatness inside of you that draws you here each morning.

So then, why might you not be realizing that greatness, at least to its full potential and

expression yet?

Do you feel constantly derailed and thwarted by constant distractions, life's inevitable

interruptions and derailments?

Most people assume that it's just life, that it's inevitable.

But is it?

This morning, let's challenge those assumptions.

In 2016, in the bustling back halls of the legendary Boston Garden,

a young Isaiah Thomas ran into the basketball titan himself, Kobe Bryant.

This was Isaiah's first season with the Boston Celtics

and Kobe's last season as a professional with the Los Angeles Lakers.

This young player got a once in a lifetime opportunity to ask the future Hall of Famer

an important question, which was, how did you lock in on your whole career? Eliminate distractions,

eliminate everything that could take your focus away from your ultimate goal. The answer, my friends, was

nothing short of mind-blowing. Isaiah recalled, without thinking or even blinking, Kobe replied,

quote, you know how a lion when he's hunting for food? There's probably a hundred thousand little
