My name is Scott Miller and I'm honored to serve as your ongoing host.

Today is perhaps a highlight seminal time in not just our on leadership series, but my career at Franklin Covey.

I am honestly humbled and honored to have the co-founder of the Franklin Covey company

Hiram Smith here in our studios. Hiram welcome truly an honor I I think it's

safe to say you are a personal hero of mine for 20 plus years.

You are coach and mentor to literally millions of people around the world, some might say billions.

My first experience with you was before I ever met you.

I worked for the Disney Company back in Orlando

in 1992, my first job at a college, and my brother, four years, my senior, who was a very

accomplished engineer, purchased with his own money a Franklin Day Planner.

And he sent it to me my first day at the Disney Company. I remember the restaurant I was in having breakfast

before my first day on the job and I was opening up the kit because he was so

Dedicated to the system

but wanted to make an investment in my career.

And I'll remember like it was yesterday,

the gratitude I was thinking of my brother,

to my brother, not knowing much about you or the company and here I am

27 years later

interviewing you in this studio I mean I words don't describe the honor and the privilege today to have you here.

I remember when you were in Chicago.
