Cape Town South Africa with episode 285 today.

Super excited to be here today.

I probably should have recorded this when I was in Cape Town so that I kind of had that, you know,

I idea of remembering where I was from and I think one of the most important things about doing a podcast,

especially when you travel around the world is

it just takes you back to that time when you were giving that value. I can remember most of the

episodes when I listened to them, when I was doing, where I I was looking what I was talking about I can

kind of remember that so I should have done that but anyway I want to just give you a

recap I've been quite quiet on social media so in 1995 I saw South Africa lift the Rugby World Cup for the first time.

A guy which was the name was the guy was name was Francois Pina

and it was when Nelson Mandela did like a really famous speech

to go out there and win, and they went out there and win, right?

And since then they'd become the, well, basically the most decorated rugby team of all time

winning the Rugby World Cup four times.

For those of you don't know, I used to play rugby a lot when I was growing up in school. Our school was a rugby school when all the other schools played football, we played rugby.

Now I grew up tall quite fast. I was quite, I grew up tall quite quickly and I was very very fast so rugby was an obvious

game for me to play but as everyone else started to fill out I did not so I was the

lanky guy who looked like a pencil and everyone else was yeah taking me out

so I eventually migrated into the hockey team. I was pretty good at hockey because I was again I was fast

but anyway so obviously

95 I was seven years old I watched them lift the World Cup and I said to myself
