Oscar nominations. And Betty Davis was nominated for Best Actress, but Joan got nothing. Wow.

So that was a big problem. Out of pettiness, Joan is actively campaigning against Betty during

Oscar season. She's like, you do not deserve anything. And she hatched this secret plan to

humiliate her at the ceremony.

So basically, Betty loses the best actress award that year to Anne Bancroft and couldn't

believe her eyes when none other than Joan herself waltzed onto stage to collect the award.

So basically what happened is that Joan had called all the other nominees beforehand being

like, if you win, I would like to go up and like accept the award for you.

And they were like, sure, like, why not?

Like, I don't know.

Maybe they weren't all there.

And so there's a video of her like going up and accepting it.

And basically like she goes up to accept the award.

And it's like congratulations to Anne Bancroft and it's literally Joan Crawford that

gets up there and is like happily accepted look at her smile she's like she's like thank you so

much oh my god so she literally gets up like not only does her nemesis lose but she gets up and

accepts the award that's. That's amazing.

And this is what Betty said. I almost dropped dead. I was paralyzed with shock to deliberately

upstage me like that. Her behavior was despicable. I will never forget the look she gave me.

It was triumphant. It clearly said you didn't win and I am elated. Oh my god, here's the thing though, like they are in love with each

other. They are. They are obsessed. Like that's the kind of thing that's like longstanding feud.
