His name is Spoon, and he's the new puppy that I adopted and he's sitting in my

lab right now and I cannot believe that I'm sitting here saying that I am now a dog mom. I fully

did not expect this. I don't know if you're a fan of the show and you've been listening to recent

episodes. You may have known that I wanted to foster a dog

in hopes to give myself a little bit of purpose, a reason to get up in the morning to prevent

the downfall of the inevitable winter blues, seasonal depression, daylight savings funk. I really believed that I could compartmentalize.

I truly, truly did. I thought I can hang out with this pup, give him a good couple weeks,

and make his life better for the next owner that gets to have him permanently. I am a softie, I guess. I couldn't do it. I could not give him back.

I was weeping on the kitchen floor at the thought of having to give him up. This dog is mine.
