We're back. We're back. There's no Drew. I'm Roth. Where's Drew? Roth? He's on vacation.

That was my attempt at doing both halves of the Drew and Dave intro. Didn't

dim work as well as I'd hoped it would. But Drew is on vacation and I can't do

the podcast by myself. I can barely do it with anyone else. So I have with me

today to my fellow defector teammates Kelsey McKinney who is a long time

recurring guest of ours and also the host of the hip podcast normal gossip.

And Albert Bernico who's been on roughly as many times and whose rural

Maryland homestead is currently being besieged by Carpenter Bees. How are you

to? Hello friends. Hey Albert how's it going? Oh David Roth. I was harder to do a

Drew voice. You have to really activate your diaphragm in a way that I'm not

comfortable doing. Like I had to get deep in there and then you also have to

be willing to scrunk and I wasn't able to do that. Sorry you have to be

willing to do what? Scrunk. It's a jazz term. It means when you when you

fuck up blowing into a trumpet and it sounds kind of like Drew saying my name.

So I have happy to have you all here again not just because it would be

strange for me to talk for 50 straight minutes without it. But you all are

two of my favorite writers on the website. Also right there with me in the

tier of I guess what you would call ultra prolific bloggers just constantly

getting up on the site new pros, new buy lines pretty much hourly. I thought

maybe later we could talk to young writers about how they could write as

effectively and regularly as as we three do. Maybe we'll put that at the very

end of the show and if we run out of time and we don't get to it. Too bad. Everybody could just approach.
