President Trump has been convicted of 34 counts of something.

The sham trial of the millennium has finally concluded and although

it's not surprising that a New York City jury would hate Trump enough to ignore four weeks

of evidence or lack thereof, it's still disheartening. The fix seemed to be in from the start.

The judge was hopelessly biased, gagging Trump while letting other so-called

witnesses speak freely in public. The charges were and still are unclear. The judge refused to

allow any explanations of campaign finance law. He allowed the testimony of a known perjurer.

The trial should never have been allowed to proceed in New York City in the

first place. President Trump was assured he would never have an impartial jury of his peers.

But most frightening of all is how this verdict upends what little faith Americans had left in the

justice system. It also sets a dangerous precedent. Trump isn't guilty of election fraud,

but presidents past and present have engaged in all sorts of shady activities. The Clintons are

probably murderers. Republicans have no choice. As soon as Biden leaves office, they must begin the

prosecutions and they shouldn't stop with the president. The gloves are off, but it's the American people who will be bloodied and bruised.

Our justice system is now a political weapon, and that does not bode well for the trust a citizenry

must have in the law, nor does it bode well for the future of our republic.

Trump must win big in November November and everyone concerned with justice should

be thinking about what part they can play in that. Volunteer is a poll watcher or a polling place worker.
