The show where we help you save dinner or whatever you're cooking.

I'm Chris Morocco, food director of Bonapete and Epicureus.

I've been helping solve listeners dinner emergencies for almost two years now. Wow that is crazy to hear

myself say that out loud. And here on the show we've tackled all kinds of culinary

conundrums.

But once our collars problems are solved,

that's it.

Off they go back to their busy lives.

My hope is always that our collars take

what they've learned on our show and run with it,

that their time on the show meaningfully helps them as home cooks.

But it's hard to say if that happens, because I usually don't hear from them again.

Until now. Today we're checking in with a few collars whose culinary journeys aren't quite over,

and we'll hear where they are now.

For example, listener Eddie.

Eddie called us looking for help making homemade pasta.

All his previous attempts had ended with inconsistent results, crumbly dough,

and a lot of frustration.

But with some help from my colleague Shilpa Escokovich, aka the Duchess of Dough, Eddie got the

homemade noodles of his dreams by way of a key cooking concept paired with a very important kitchen tool.
