Summary

Tonight’s guest, Dan Hamilton, is from Minnesota. All of the sightings and encounters he’s going to talk about on tonight’s show happened in Washington State, where he grew up, though. Dan grew up watching shows like In Search Of, where Leonard Nimoy focused on the Sasquatch phenomenon, in one of the episodes. He was also amazed by the Patterson/Gimlin Film. He never expected to have sightings and encounters of his own, however. Strange as it might seem, that’s exactly what happened. On tonight’s show, he’s going to share all of the Sasquatch-related sightings and experiences he’s had with you. Some of his sightings and experiences were fairly mild, in intensity. Some were anything but mild. Those were the encounters that terrified him. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to him share those experiences, so you can understand why they frightened him so much.

0:15.5	I am the host of the Crypted Podcast and the co-host of Mysteries Unknown. I had my first
0:23.8	citing and only siding when I was 12 years old back in 1984 in a little town called Graham,
0:31.2	Washington. So as a young kid, I was first introduced to the crypted world by seeing, you know, the famous Patterson Gimlin film.
0:44.0	And that really struck kind of a nerve with me.
0:47.5	I knew, you know, that that was incredible.
0:51.5	That was an incredible thing that was captured on film.
0:59.2	I would go to the library and try to find anything and everything i could unfortunately a lot of the books that i found also involved you know nessie the
1:05.4	lockness monster and other things like that but i wasn't really interested in that i was
1:09.3	interested in saskatch or Bigfoot
1:12.5	because I'm from the Pacific Northwest and from what I understood at the time, that was the home,
1:20.1	that part of Oregon and then also Northern California. And then I remember seeing the show with Leonard Nimoy in search of, and they had a Sasquatch episode on there.
1:34.6	And that just that blew my mind.
1:37.1	Again, it just made me hungry for this cryptid, for this creature out there. I wanted to believe that it was real. But again,
1:48.7	back when I was younger, you didn't really have the internet, you know, so you couldn't really
1:54.4	figure out where to look and how to get your hands on things, especially being a small kid.
1:59.9	So back in 1984, my younger brother and I, we had just moved back to Washington State
2:06.9	to live with my dad.
2:10.7	My dad was single at the time, and we were living in an adult trailer park, like an RV park.
2:19.3	It was just a place for my dad to find a live.
2:21.6	He was living in a fifth wheel camper, and he okayed it with the people who owned the place.
