Listen, what we're going to do is we've been talking over the last three weeks in our new collection

about the collection of orbit, reaching people, being a witness in our world, in our orbit.

We started off in 2 Corinthians 5, verse 20, where God tells us to be ambassadors for him.

So therefore, you will be my ambassadors.

And then last week we jumped into Acts, Acts chapter 8, where we saw the story of Philip and the Ethiopian Unic, where Philip

runs with the Unic to be able to get the gospel to him and the Unic gets baptized that day because

Philip had a open life to be able to reach

him and share this gift. Today we're going to dive in a little bit deeper and go a little bit more

practical, I think, on what this looks like in our lives. In Acts chapter 1 verse 8, it tells us

Jesus is talking before he has sent to heaven and he says, you will be my witnesses

in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth. And so that's not like a suggestion

when you follow me, Jesus said, but actually you will, you might or you could, like you will be,

you will be my representatives. In Matthew 28,

verse 19, he commissions us, the great commission, therefore go and make disciples. So we see that in

the New Testament, we see that there is this whole purpose to our lives, right, to be a witness

for Jesus. Our life is to do that. But this is not,

it's not new to the New Testament. This is actually from the beginning of time, right?

Yeah. So if you go back to page one of the Bible, you actually see something very similar,

which then I think is reflected in those two passages you mentioned. In Genesis 1, when God is

creating the world, we get this key piece where it says that God, or the Godhead said, let us make man

...
