And he's here to talk about how his upbringing, how racist and homophobic values were forced

on him as a child and how it ultimately impacts him today.

Hey, I appreciate you guys having me.

I'm just glad to be here.

Yeah, no, we're really interested in having this conversation and to start,

can you just paint a picture of your upbringing for us? So just the environment,

number of family members, and I mean if you're willing even sort of the location so that we can

kind of get an understanding.

Okay, I'll give my birthplace away because I was only there for a short time. I was born in Columbus, Georgia, and in there a lot of this wasn't really forming yet so I mean also I don't

remember a lot of it I had a lot of trauma at a very young age so honestly memory block so I remember being

age six seven and up like anything younger I kind of just have flashes of

memory but it was it started very young my like I don't remember but my

father would beat me and my sibling with a leather belt and a buckle because of like you know soiling a diaper and

like like whipping us with it make me stand in the corner for hours on end till my feet swole.
