I put myself through gay conversion therapy.

They are also from a Mormon household, so we're going to jump into that too and

how it's all connected, but we've got the guest on the line and thank you so much for being on today.

Hey, thanks for having me. Great to be here.

Yeah, of course. So I think it'll be important to kind of talk about your upbringing and growing up in a Mormon household specifically.

Can you kind of just walk us through your earliest memories of that?

Absolutely. I was born and raised a member of the LDS Church of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the full name.

So if I say LDS or that, that's why.

But grew up in this Mormon household family who has been, we-generational have been Mormons for many

years it's the reason my family came to America in the late 1800s so it's very

deep with instilled on both sides of my family.

And yeah, I grew up in a very concentrated Mormon area

in Arizona.

And that's where I was.

And do you remember when you realize that you are gay?

About 13 or so, 10, 11, 12, 13, like in that puberty age when you start realizing,

you know, most people like girls and some people like boys and all that fun stuff. So right at the puberty area and I wasn't it wasn't so much instilled of like this is bad, but there was something inside me and said don't tell anybody
