Oh, I appreciate the compliment. It's hard to say what you feel when you're writing a book, but I was immersed in it for a long time.

And I was delighted with the cover because it felt good just to look at it.

Well, it has the the book title has a fun origin story which I absolutely it just

delighted me if you would like to oh yeah, where Hellenic Tantra came from.

Well, yeah, it came to me from somebody who didn't like my work.

I got an email from a somewhat an unknown person who was disgruntled with my

approach to doing my scholarship on theology and neoplatinism and he disparagingly, I think, that was the tone, said you're doing nothing but Hellenic

Tantra.

And I thought h

h Hellenic tantra I kind of like the sound of that and I thought yeah he is right I am doing

presenting eamplicus and theology as a kind of Hellenic tontra.

And although I had already seen parallels with tontra and referred to them in a couple of articles,

I thought it might be worth fleshing that out just a little bit more and helping people to understand that

Neoplatonic theology is actually more like

Tantra than it is a kind of an ascetic escape the world
