but there's a certain connectivity in the universe so maybe they will be connected after all I don't

know I'll let you be the judge of that it's been a couple of years since I played golf with former President Trump.

He's been very gracious with his invitation since then, but I have not been physically

able to play like I want to be able to play so I have had to postpone

these matches hopefully I'll be able to compete and not embarrass myself or tear up one of his golf courses before too terribly

alone in the future but the last time we did play together he said something

after the round which was both funny and probably correct.

We had finished the round and we were in the locker room washing off for lunch and

he said, Gowdy, you are right about half the time he said it with a smile he was

always a gracious host fun to play with lunch was always entertaining afterwards, but it was that quote that I probably enjoyed the most.

that he would be gracious to and play golf with

someone that he thought was wrong half the time.

Golf sort of transcends most other shortcomings or differences.

And for those on the other side of the political aisle, yes, I would welcome the chance to play golf with any former or current president.
