So before we get started today, I just want to paint the room for you.

Bob Eager, my guest, is the president and CEO of Disney.

That means he oversees almost 200,000 employees, theme parks all over the globe, and dozens of incredibly

successful media outlets, including Pixar, Marvel, and ABC.

I'm sure you've heard of all of those.

I've just walked into his office and it's not only

bigger than my house it looks like a museum of Disney paraphernalia. In the

corner of the room there's this giant chess set and I mean it's huge. There are

Disney related toys, books, photos framed on the wall.

It's really fascinating to see the history of this place. But the sun in that

keeps catching my eye as I'm about to sit down and set up my podcasting equipment.

There's this gold embossed logo that says Lucas Films on this white folder and inside the

folder there's about 120 pages of red paper. It looks like it could be a movie

script but I don't know why all the pages of red and Bob keeps looking at it

making sure that you know I'm not going to grab it or anything like that. It's clearly

clearly important but I don't know why yet. Anyway, we'll find out soon

I did did you did you was the dream when you were a little kid to be a weatherman or was it was it with did you watch television on a Sunday afternoon thinking that's what I want to do when I get older?

It was it part of, how did that, how did you get there and then how did you end up here?
