Shannon Lynch is the host of the podcast, The Allie, D.C.'s 8th and H case, a detailed look at the 1984 murder of D.C. resident Catherine Fuller

and the eight young black men who were convicted and sentenced to life in prison for a crime

they did not commit. The show features the voices of the six men who are still living. Clifton Yarborough, Christopher Turner,

Charles Turner, Timothy Catlett, Levi Rouse, and Russell Overton, all of whom served their

time and were eventually released after decades in prison, only to face a life on the outside still marred by the legal and

emotional consequences of their wrongful convictions. Now, the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project

is pressing President Biden to provide them with a post-prison pardon to write a terrible

miscarriage of justice. In this episode, Shannon will take

us through the crime, the flawed investigation and trial, as well as the suppression of evidence

that could have exonerated these men decades ago in hopes that the more their story is heard,

the more likely it is that they and other wrongfully convicted people will be granted the clemency they have long deserved.
