The luxury retailer Hermes has been slapped with a class action lawsuit that could change the way customers get their hands on high-end items, especially purses.

To understand this lawsuit, you first have to understand the history of Hermes and its iconic Birkenbag.

Sharma brands, explained on Twitter, while Hermes has been around for 187 years, the company

didn't create their most coveted product until the 1980s. That product, a leather weekender bag,
