Merry Christmas to you. Happy Holidays. This season I've been thinking a lot about not just surviving

Christmas, but now that we have the Omicron closing in and we're all very concerned about

suddenly we're going to be isolated again, right? Whereas I was having a little bit of a social

life for the last few weeks and now that's seeming like maybe a bad idea to do indoors and we're kind

of I was such so bummed when I started reading the paper and you know this is a time where

you I've had to really go back to remembering how to be mindful to have mindfulness to kind of like

achieve some sort of peace with where we're at because it's not ideal, right? I think about our

advertisers that we've had for the last several months. I'm sure you've noticed this but it's

headspace, right? The meditation app. We have better help to help you find a therapist. People

have incredible anxiety right now. I just was reading in the paper. They surveyed all these

therapists across the country and they just say it's like a shit show out there. It's just a total

meltdown everywhere. All their clients are just freaking the hell out and there's a lot of things.

So all of which just say forget all that for now, but I've had to develop my own practice of

like relaxation and mindfulness and how do I kind of deal? What's that practice? Well that's

listening to music. So for me, it's been about just sort of like mindful listening just like,

you know, often we put music on and it's in the background and I try to put it into the foreground

and just let it kind of carry me out of myself. You know, that's what music music at its best can do

that. Sure. And you know, it's a Christmas song. Some of them are all right. Little drummer boy

I've always had a place on my heart for little drummer boy. The tune. You remember the classic

Bing Crosby. Not the drummer boy himself. Not himself. Well though I always related to him. I
