Like, how competitive is the media?

0:38.0

Well, like toxic would be another word.

0:40.0

Really? Is it?

0:42.0

Well, it's funny because I left the law after 10 years because it was toxic and it was non-stop and it was just too much of a grind and I got into that lovely stew they call media.

0:53.0

And it was not exactly the respite I thought it would be, but it's fun. I have to say as much as the media is disgusting and horrid, it's a fun industry in which to work.

1:03.0

So why is it disgusting and horrid? I mean, is it?

1:06.0

1:46.0

So where, just because you brought him up, is it love or hate right now?

1:50.0

For me? Yeah.

1:51.0

You know, I never hated Trump. Right.

1:54.0

I didn't particularly love our little skirmish over those nine months, but the thing I would say distinguishes me from a lot of the journalists that he's gone after is.

2:02.0

I never took it personally. I never held it against him. I covered him tough. You know, I gave him tough questions of that debate.

2:09.0

But as soon as I went to Trump Tower and kind of asked him to lay off me, he did. And we've gotten along well ever since.

2:14.0

Now, did you, because I didn't have this as part of the interview, right?
