When you have captured 80% of the market share in one of the hottest sectors there is,

you have to know that the competition's working pretty hard to get a piece of that action.

Well, that's the situation with NVIDIA, which is by far the dominant player in the

superconductor arena. Superconductors, or microchips, as they're known more informally, power everything from smartphones to cars to computers.

They're also essential for training and deploying the artificial intelligence systems called large language models that are dominating headlines right now.
