I'm a presenter based in Glasgow and I'm the host of the Sunday

show where I've been interviewing the party leaders who want your vote in the general election

on July the 4th. So how are they planning to get it? The Liberal Democrats election campaign

is well underway. You might have seen Sir Ed Davy, the party's leader and a knight of the realm, no less, whizzing down water slides and falling into lakes. It is, apparently, all for a purpose. Today, I've been speaking to the Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole Hamilton. I've been asking him about energy, housing, Brexit and independence, among other things.

I want to get into the campaigning in just a minute.

But first I want to throw back.

We spoke to you, viewers will listeners will remember two or three weeks ago when it was your party conference.

Yeah.

And we spoke about therapy that you'd had because of the impact that politics

can take, the toll politics can take on you. We've spoken about that already, but let me just ask

you, given all that, do you enjoy the campaign, the cut and thrust of this? I absolutely love

election campaigns. It's like Christmas for Lib Dems, and you've seen that with the enjoyment

that Ed Davies had on his photo

opportunities and look and we we take such joy from campaigns because we love speaking to

constituents we love getting out our positive optimistic message of hope and my goodness we're

going to make a big stride forward at this election you've talked about the difficulties we've
