Can you do your favor and remind me what your role was with the Reagan administration?

I was a young domestic policy analyst.

My office was in the old executive office building right adjacent to the White House.

So when you're working in that administration, did you have... building right adjacent to the White House.

So when you're working in that administration,

did you have a chance to spend any time with him?

I got to stand in the back of the room

while the senior staff was around the table.

So I didn't interact with Reagan directly but it was just a

wonderful window on the way that Reagan governed and the way that he conducted a

meeting. Was he always the way that we saw him on television?

Was he always the guy with a story and a smile?

And I love the country.
