Hey, deserving listeners. Today's episode I'm going to interview J, someone who goes by the name of J.

0:07.2

He identifies as a pedophile or more specifically a minor-attracted person or even more specifically

0:16.4

a non-offending minor-attracted person or a no-map non-offending minor-attracted person.

0:23.9

This episode is almost like a therapy session. It's not therapy to be clear. He absolutely knew that.

0:29.2

But he wanted me to ask questions of him. He didn't want to just provide a presentation. He wanted

0:35.0

to be more organic. And the way that played out it played out more like a therapy session. In fact,

0:41.4

if you are curious as to what I might look like in a therapy session, this might actually kind of

0:48.7

look like that. Again, it wasn't therapy and he was clear about that. He has his own therapist.

0:53.7

And also, it's not a full representation of my therapy style. It's just a particular type of

1:00.4

therapy session that I might have. You know, maybe like 20% of the time a session might look like this.

So obviously this episode carries a tremendous trigger warning like never before. I've never had

1:14.4

an episode and I really can't think of many things on the internet that could be more triggering

1:20.4

than this. Jay, again, he just goes by the name of Jay. He describes in detail his sexual attraction

1:26.6

to children or his emotional attraction to children. And he also describes his own abusive

1:32.8

history as when he was a child. So even if you don't have trauma or PTSD about childhood trauma,

1:40.8

this would be very hard to listen to. When I was describing this interview to my wife, she doesn't

1:47.6

have trauma along these lines, but I could tell just hearing the topic. So just hearing already

1:54.8

what I've talked about could be 100% triggering. And so if you have PTSD, absolutely talk with your

2:02.4

therapist and listen with care. Take it in chunks is probably the recommendation. But again,

2:10.4

follow your therapist advice. And even if you don't have traumas, you have to be very careful.

2:15.7

And I'm actually going to sprinkle in some breaks throughout this interview so that you can

2:22.1

check in with yourself. So before getting into the interview, I have a few things to say. One is
