You wanted more unexplained rustling in the bushes at night.

More shadows dashing through your flashlight beam.

More otherworldly cries from just beyond the firelight.

You wanted more camp monsters.

So at the end of June 2022, we're kicking off our camp monster's summer camp, sponsored

by the good folks at Yeti.

During our first three seasons of camp monsters, so many of you wrote reviews or sent emails

with great monster stories of your own.

And we noticed that a lot of these took place at summer camp, or in a wilderness nearby.

So we've collected the best of the stories that you sent and researched a few of our own

to create our first series of legendary summer camp creatures.

We hope you take these stories with you into the bunk houses and barracks and cabins of

whatever camp you go to this summer.

Or if your summer campy years are behind you, listen to these tales and remember what

it was like.

And soon after the last of those eight weekly summer stories, camp monsters will return

as usual in September and October for another eight episodes, telling terrifying tales

of legendary creatures from around the country.
